Description
SolFocus recently completed a significant round of funding and is actively recruiting a strong engineering team.
The SolFocus technology combines the record-setting efficiency of triple-junction solar cells with the tremendous power of tailored imaging and non-imaging optics in a new and exciting range of solar concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) products. Developed in conjunction with leading scientists in the field, our CPV systems are targeted at very large field and rooftop installations worldwide, and promise low cost, highly reliable electricity generation. In fact, we view our competition as classic energy, derived from coal and natural gas.
We have two generations of products under development, preparing for pilot production on the first generation. With a large variety of work to be done, we can guarantee a rewarding, challenging, and enjoyable workplace-in an industry that promises great things for the world and which is exploding with possibilities.
