Consider this unique opportunity to lead Northeast Employment and Training Organization (NETO)’s dedicated team in assisting income eligible Vermonters in Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia counties.
About Us
For over 40 years, our weatherization program has helped over 10,000 households save money by improving the energy efficiency of their homes, resulting in lower heating and utility bills. NETO is a private, non-profit with an administrative office in Newport, a second location in St. Johnsbury, 24 employees, and $2.3MM in annual operating revenues. About You
- Successful candidates will bring a professional, positive, and diplomatic demeanor; at least ten years of relevant experience, including three years managing people, programs, and budgets; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and furthering NETO’s mission to reduce the energy burdens of Vermonters with limited resources is also important.
- The incumbent will divide their time between the duties of Executive Director and Director of Weatherization and work out of both the Newport and St. Johnsbury locations, with Newport being the primary office.
About the Role
The Executive Director serves as the chief administrator of both the organization as a whole and the weatherization program itself, providing leadership, and directing and overseeing all functions of NETO in accordance with goals and policies set by the Board of Directors. Direct reports include the Fiscal Director, Deputy Director, Program Directors, and Efficiency Coach.
