Description

~ The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) was founded in 1988 as a not-for-profit land trust dedicated to working with willing landowners and other partners to protect the world-renowned water quality of Lake George and to permanently preserve the natural, scenic, historic and recreational resources of the Lake George region. ~

LGLC uses progressive conservation strategies to work with landowners, government officials and supporters aimed at securing the protection of special natural places for future generations to enjoy. The organization is governed by a 23-member volunteer Board of Directors.
