Description
Duties:
Predator Conservation Alliance (PCA) seeks an Executive Director to further develop its leadership role in carnivore conservation in the Rocky Mountain/Northern Great Plains region.
PCA is dedicated to protecting and restoring native predators and their habitats, and to helping people and predators coexist.
PCA's skilled staff of eight has established working relationships with diverse stakeholders, forging integrated conservation strategies for grassland and forest predators.
The work, though regional in focus, has attracted nationwide membership.
- The qualified Director will lead PCA's strategic development of conservation opportunities, and will convey PCA's mission and outcomes to diverse audiences.
Qualifications:
- Grant-writing and other fundraising skills are essential.
- PCA values a capacity for integration of rigorous science with a visionary problem-solving mentality, grounded in careful listening to communities of the region; it will seek such qualities in its new leader.
