The Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advances energy efficiency as a primary driver of an economically vibrant, energy secure and environmentally sustainable Southeastern United States. SEEA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Alliance to Save Energy, is based in Atlanta, GA, and works in the 11-state region of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia plus the U.S. Virgin Islands.

We partner with policymakers, utilities, governments, industry and non-governmental organizations to create more energy efficient futures for the communities we serve. SEEA is the independent champion driving market transformation in the Southeast's energy efficiency sector through collaborative public policy, thought leadership, and programs, services and technical advisory activities.

Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant will provide support work to President and Vice President of Operations. She/he will also lead office management for SEEA under the guidance of the VP of Operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the schedules of the President and Vice President and makes appointments
  • Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings for President and Vice President
  • Bills Associate Members each year, maintains files and invoices for the Associate Members Program and sponsorship invoices for various SEEA events throughout the year
  • Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence including contact information and business cards
  • Processes, invoices and keeps files as needed
  • Prepares monthly expense reports for the President and Vice President
  • Compiles contact lists of related NGOs and vendors
  • Coordinates HR support tasks including new hire and onboarding process
  • Orders supplies for office
  • Assists in planning and organizing SEEA events
  • Maintains the Contracts for SEEA
  • Handles SEEA's informational email addresses: info@seealliance.org membership@seealliance.org and seeajobs@seealliance.org
  • Records minutes of Staff and Board Meetings for SEEA
  • Acts as liaison to the SEEA Board and coordinates all Board Executive Committee Meetings and Audit & Finance Committee Meetings
  • Keeps all Board files
  • Records minutes of SEEA board meetings
  • Maintains current Staff Listing and list of conference call lines
  • Maintain the SEEA Team Calendar and the Conference Room Calendars
  • Liaison for the Hurt Building Property Management and act in capacity of Safety Marshall for office
  • Coordinator for office phone system
  • Manages supply ordering for SEEA staff 

Qualifications:

  • Direct experience as an executive assistant for 3-5 years
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Able to handle multiple priorities is highly organized and professional
  • Must be a team player, with a good sense of humor, and excellent intrapersonal skills 

Compensation: $32,500-$45,000
