Position Overview:

Conduct equity research.

Responsibilities:

Conduct industry and individual stock analyses, taking primary responsibility for specific sectors. Research and review sources of information relevant to investment decisions, integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment analysis, meet with and interview company management, review broker research, maintain and revise stock valuations, research and recommend stocks for investment.

Qualifications: 

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Experience with investment analysis, knowledge of the socially responsible investment field, and interest in the needs of investment clients
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills; knowledge of or strong aptitude for social and investment research databases, Advent/Moxy/Axys; proficiency with Excel, Word, internet usage, and research and communication skills
  • Strong networking, interpersonal and telephone skills to interact with companies, clients, prospects, other important contacts, and internal office personnel
  • Passion for TAMC's mission, and ability to integrate social, environmental, and financial information into investment decision-making
  • Ability to work flexibly, manage time well and adapt to a fluid, varied set of demands
  • Considerable tact and discretion and an ability to professionally handle sensitive information
  • Team player; able to fit into organization where a high level of cooperation and collaboration is necessary
  • Fluency in issues of corporate and social responsibility
  • An MBA and/or CFA, and/or 2-3 years of experience in a similar financial services position

Position Relationship:

Reports to Director of Equity Research. Input into performance from Portfolio Managers.
