THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED, a growing, nationally recognized ENR Top 50 transportation design firm, has an opening in our Orlando, Florida office for an Environmental Scientist to work on transportation projects throughout the southeast, with primary focus in Florida.
Individual will work on wetland jurisdictional determinations, protected species field surveys, environmental assessments, & habitat assessments for environmental reports & State ERP & Section 404 wetland permitting.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Botany, Zoology or Environmental Science; Must be physically fit & able to perform field work; Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Florida in wetland ERP & Section 404 permitting, & protected species assessments & consultation. Basic computer skills (MS Word & Excel); & verbal & writing skills.
