Environmental Management Systems

First Environment, Inc., a rapidly growing strategic environmental management and engineering consulting firm recognized for our commitment to leadership in the environmental field, is looking for highly motivated environmental professionals to join our team. Our practice areas include Site Investigation & Remediation, Mergers & Acquisitions, EH&S Compliance Support and Permitting, EH&S Management Systems, Forensic Environmental Investigations, Litigation Support, Climate Change and Sustainability, Life Cycle Analysis, and Risk Management. 

The responsibilities for this position include: 

· Developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems including: Defining and developing the system components Writing and implementing EMS procedures Developing EMS tools Preparing deliverables and presenting findings to clients
· Auditing and verification support

Qualified candidates must possess: 

· An advanced degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
· Minimum 5-7 years experience
· Minimum 2-3 years experience developing and implementing environmental management systems
· Working knowledge of environmental regulations
· Team player with a high degree of self-motivation
· Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
· Demonstrated track record
· Business or engineering background a plus
