Environmental Geologist/Engineer

Hynes & Associates in Salisbury, Maryland currently has an opening for an Environmental Geologist/Engineer.

Hynes & Associates provides environmental consulting, and hydrogeological services for:

Responsibilities:

Work involves completing Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, performing soil and groundwater studies, UST closures, and site remediation.

Qualifications:

Candidate should possess the following: a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, hydrology, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline; 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in soil classification, sample collection, contractor oversight, and other field tasks; and strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. Current HAZWOPER certification, Maryland or Delaware UST experience and certification are a plus. Maryland, Delaware, Virginia Licenses a plus.

Compensation: Hynes & Associates is a small company. Therefore, you will be able to take on important project and management responsibilities.
