Environmental Engineer

Duties:

Senior-level environmental position in the Engineering Division, Department of Building and Development.

The position is responsible for managing the environmental review program for land development applications.

• Develops, recommends and implements land development policies, procedures, projects and ordinances based on sound environmental practices.
• Provides application review, conservation design and project management. 
                   

Qualifications

• Experience with low impact development and conservation design applications, and environmental preservation and mitigation is desired.
• BS in environmental engineering, environmental science or related field, two years related experience and six months of administrative experience.
• An MS and PE are preferred.
• Hiring Range: $40,111 - $52,144 per year
