Fast-growing photovoltaic technology company with legendary roots seeks qualified engineers to install/operate photovoltaic module factories.

Amelio Solar, a leader in the development and global commercialization of thin-film photovoltaic (PV) technology and related manufacturing and power generation solutions, is expanding its engineering team.

Amelio Solar's technical team is one of the most experienced and accomplished in the industry, drawing on a 40-year legacy of photovoltaic technology innovation and market implementation, including helping to invent thin-film photovoltaic technology, creating an industry-standard process for thin-film photovoltaic module manufacturing, deploying 16 thin-film photovoltaic module factories around the world and installing several of the world's first large-scale and building-integrated thin-film photovoltaic power generation systems.

The company is located in Ewing, New Jersey, near the vibrant, historic college town of Princeton, New Jersey and a brief commute to surrounding suburbs that offer beautiful environs, comfortable living and diverse affordable housing options. The major metropolitan centers of New York City and Philadelphia, with all their amenities, are a convenient hour's ride away.

Position Overview:

We are seeking talented electrical, mechanical and manufacturing process engineers to augment our factory installation and technical operations team.

Responsibilities: 

Principal responsibilities will include designing, installing, programming, optimizing, trouble-shooting and servicing our thin-film photovoltaic module factories around the world and providing staff training and other support.

We will have positions available at all levels including senior (10+ years of experience), intermediate (5+ years of experience) and junior (post-graduation to 5 years of experience).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of B.S. in relevant engineering discipline, with strong academic record; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred but not imperative for senior level positions
• Strong work ethic, dedication to quality and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Detail-oriented project execution, documentation and analytical skills
• Leadership, management, teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas; experience or interest in working in international settings a strong plus
• Foreign language skills also a strong plus
• Passion for developing and implementing solar energy solutions for a better environment

In addition to outstanding academic, technical and professional attributes, applicants also should have experience, education and/or training in any of the following:

• Thin-film photovoltaic module design or manufacturing (highly preferred but not imperative)
• Plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Sputtering deposition technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Vacuum chamber technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Laser technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Lamination technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Glass coating technology and its use in manufacturing lines
• Manufacturing control systems and related software
• Manufacturing automation/robotics
• Quality control systems
• Manufacturing process manual development and staff training
