Position Overview
Associated Renewable is seeking a certified Retro-Commissioning (RcX) engineer that has experience with multiple building types including commercial, large multi-family and industrial. This position is located at our U.S headquarters in New York City.

Responsibilities
- Conduct retro-commissioning on existing commercial, large multi-family and industrial buildings.
- Identifying and implementing operational and maintenance improvements in client buildings to ensure continued performance.
- Manage project resources and subcontractors.
- Identify target clients for the firm and cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential key clients, customers and contractors to develop business.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Retro-Commissioning (RcX) certification.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum Education: Bachelors.
- A minimum of 4 years of retro-commissioning, commissioning, energy consulting or related experience in a variety of facility systems and subsystems including controls, mechanical, electrical, life safety and building envelope systems.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing engineering projects.
- Experience in ASHRAE level energy audits. Experience developing energy savings calculations from retro-fits and energy measures from retro-commissioning.
- Advanced knowledge in combined heat and power/cogeneration, controls and building envelope.
- Certification in the Commissioning Process, as an Energy Manager, or LEED Accreditation a plus.
