Position Overview:
The successful candidate will work as a member of a national consulting practice focusing on the development, implementation and evaluation energy efficiency and/or demand response programs for electric utilities.
Ideal candidate will be familiar and have experience with utility implemented programs including:
- Market Assessment, Market Potential Studies
- Program Feasibility Analysis
- Residential and Commercial Pricing Programs
- Customer Rebate Programs
- Residential and Commercial Market Transformation Programs
- Voluntary or Contracted Customer Load Control / Demand Response
- Customer Communications, Public Outreach and Marketing of Programs
- Regulatory Support
- Customer (Load Side) Energy Efficiency or Load Management Measures (HVAC, Lighting, equipment, operations, LEED construction, etc)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Business or Economics is required, and an MBA is preferred
- 5-10 years related experience with utility energy efficiency and/or demand response or demand side management programs
- Consulting experience preferred
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
