Description

PECI is a nonprofit corporation that has specialized in the energy efficiency market for over 20 years.

About the Position:

Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. (PECI) is launching a program initiative in Southern California to support energy efficiency in large commercial buildings by improving energy performance and building operations. We are seeking energy efficiency (EE) program specialists to market the program and work closely with program customers.

Key elements of the positon include developing relationships with commercial building owners and property managers, convincing them to undertake projects to improve their building's operating efficiency, and being the primary point of contact for customers through their project life-cycle (which typically lasts several months).

Our EE program specialists will be expected to proactively market the program and prioritize multiple ongoing project demands. This will require representing the program at local events and making executive presentations to prospective customers.

The EE program specialists will screen applicant buildings by interviewing building operators and conducting facility walk-throughs, and work with program customers to prioritize and select operational improvements.

The EE program specialists will be responsible for managing a large and diverse contact base and will work closely with program coordinators and independent commissioning providers to ensure that customer needs are met and that projects meet the expected timelines and energy savings goals.

PECI is seeking EE program specialists located in Southern California to work from a home office. Program activity will extend throughout the region.
