Ecobeco, LLC is a leading provider of Home Energy Audits in the metropolitan DC area.
Position Overview:
ecobeco seeks a report writer who will create the customer-facing report documents that ecobeco provides to its customers. After a Home Energy Audit is conducted, the auditor will provide you with a hard copy of his detailed notes. You will transcribe these notes into ecobeco's modeling software, and then use the results to create a report for the customer outlining a prioritized list of energy-efficiency and eco-friendly improvements that the person should do.
The report writer will learn all about home energy efficiency strategies and will learn how to estimate the costs of completing each retrofit work. The writer will work closely with the auditor and can spend time in the field with the auditor to become even more familiar with the process of Home Energy Auditing.
Whether you are in college or a stay at home parent, this part-time internship will introduce you to the nuts and bolts of energy-efficiency and you will learn all about green jobs related to performing energy efficiency retrofits.
Compensation: The report writer can work in the ecobeco office in Rockville or at home. A report takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete and the writer will be paid per report.
