Position Overview:
The Electrician provides timely and effective responses to electrical related work requests and emergencies, while promoting energy conservation and continuous improvement of electrical systems to support the continuous growth and development of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a timely and effective response to internal electrical related work requests generated by our customer's to ensure safe and productive working environments for our Associate's
- Response to emergency failures of equipment/systems.
- Provide general and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and/or systems
- Independently assess and develop plans to lead small scale electrical projects (i.e. power distribution for new production machine's, electricity conservation projects).
- Supports other Facility related projects and initiative's as needed.
Qualifications:
Licensing/Certification:
- Valid Journeymen Electrician License
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Commercial/Industrial Electrician
- Ability to read Blue Prints
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with Power Monitoring and Maintenance Equipment (e.g. infra-red imaging gun, power consumption monitors)
Preferred:
- Forklift operation
- Advanced knowledge of NFPA 70E
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work with required PPE
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb into tight locations
- Ability to control handheld power tools
Compensation: salary midpoint $22 per hour
