KJWW serves the healthcare, education, corporate office, government, community arts and industrial markets.  Our services include infrastructure assessments, master plans, medical equipment planning, sustainable/green design, LEED certification, architectural lighting, acoustics, and system commissioning.  We work direct to owners or as a consultant to other design professionals for evaluating, planning and designing building systems.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer with 3-10 years of previous experience working for Engineering and Design Consulting firms.  Due to the continual growth of our company, we have an opportunity at our corporate office in Rock Island, Illinois.

In this position the individual will be responsible for consulting with clients, determining the scope of the project, planning and designing electrical systems for projects of various types including; medical complexes, higher education and government facilities.

Electrical Systems designs for our clients include:

• Power Distribution both primary and secondary
• Power Generation including co-generation and standby systems
• Lighting Design and Control
• Power Conditioning
• Telecommunications
• Security and Surveillance
• Fire Alarm
• Programmable controllers
• Nurse Call
• Lightning Protection

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering
• Prior experience in Consulting Engineering
• Be a PE or be willing to obtain a PE license
• Proven leadership and project management experience
• Strong marketing and networking skills within the industry
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must travel at times to meet with clients or go to project sites
• Able to work in the United States
