Editorial Intern

Equita is a principle-driven family business specializing in design-conscious eco-friendly and socially responsible lifestyle products. We are seeking creative, passionate and mindful individuals to join our team this fall as an Editorial Intern.

Position Overview: 

The internship is a virtual position and requires a commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a period of 3 months. Internship is unpaid. We will work with your college or university to grant you course credit upon completion.

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute story ideas and write content for blog
• Research and fact check stories
• Assist with product descriptions
• Contribute to our presence on social media sites
• Assist with special events and other duties

Qualifications:

• Passionate about design, sustainability, Fair Trade, environmental stewardship, social justice
• Interest in fashion, beauty and wellness, interior design
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of social media
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail 
• Proficient in Word
• Experience using WordPress a plus
