Description
The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing participation in fishing, boating and aquatic stewardship. We seek a high-energy, experienced candidate to fill the Director of Stakeholder Outreach position based at our Alexandria, VA headquarters.
This position is responsible for obtaining greater buy-in and participation from RBFF's diverse stakeholder groups, thus enabling stakeholders to improve their own efforts to recruit and retain anglers and boaters using marketing and education strategies. This position oversees a budget of approximately $2.7 million, and supervises a staff of three.
RBFF seeks a team player with the proven ability to develop and implement innovative communication and outreach plans that serve to build and maintain relationships. We seek a candidate who has demonstrated effective leadership in the development and management of partnerships and collaborative efforts within and among the private and public sectors. Experience within the boating/fishing industry and/or the outdoor recreation community is preferred. Significant travel will be required.
