Position Overview:
Grow revenues through direct sales and channels. Identify and close prospects and develop channel partners to accelerate sales growth. If you are proficient at working in a startup and driven by equity participation, then read on.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales process and grow revenues through direct sales and indirect channel partners
- Develop and train sales partners
- Sell the value of Agilewave's energy management system to commercial, government, and industrial customers.
- Direct and actively contribute to customer proposals and collaborate with team to gather appropriate information
- Create innovative sales tools, give presentations and conduct demos
- Build deep business and high-level technical understanding of Agilewaves' solutions and customer requirements.
- Work with senior level customer and partner personnel through the sales cycle and be able to represent technical and business portions of the sales cycle
- Communicate field requirements and competitive intelligence into product planning and strategy process
- Strong application, software, and hardware solutions selling capability
- Own and leverage CRM system, produce accurate forecasts and institute a funnel/sales process that is scalable as we grow the sales and partner organization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years business development or direct sales experience working with executive level management in the energy industry or within a SaaS company
- Experience in energy business - Building Automation Systems, HVAC, Commercial lighting, ESCOs, or energy efficiency audits/services.
- Ability to articulate the business and technical value of products and position them relative to competition
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to be a direct player making sales and a coach to new sales hires and partners.
- High energy with capability to multi-task in dynamic, rapidly growing organization
- BA/BS degree and ability to read CAD/one line drawings
- Travel required
Compensation: Based on experience, qualifications and performance
