Position Overview
Radian Generation is seeking a full-time Director of Portfolio Performance to lead the technical management and optimization of a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects. The candidate will lead the technical oversight of portfolios on the Radiangen platform.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead team of Technical Asset Managers
- Manage and improve processes for monitoring and reporting performance, weather, and security data from operating solar plants
- Manage and improve processes for issue ticket creation and reporting
- Develop, implement, and improve analytical methods for evaluating asset performance
- Perform technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios.
- Performance reporting, optimization and automation
- Review system designs and develop performance models
- Oversee construction and commissioning of solar assets
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with PV system design and construction
- Knowledge of design standards and best practices
- Strong skills within Microsoft environment
- Strong skills within statistical packages and familiarity with BI tools
- Advanced knowledge of performance modeling packages including PVsyst, Helioscope, and Plant Predict
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion to enter a growth-stage enterprise
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system design and construction
- Experience with solar SCADA systems and remote communications
- Experience with data reporting and presentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of solar industry experience
- BS/MS Engineering with knowledge and interest in the renewable power industry
- Experience evaluating/overseeing PV system design and construction
