Director of Development and PR

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Director of Development and Public Relations responsible for planning, managing and implementing all fundraising and public relations activities of a growing non-profit including:

* forecast annual budget and work with staff and Board to raise funds; 

* grow the current $1.3 budget to allow for greater housing development across the City of Philadelphia;

* work with the Executive Director to map out and implement strategies to reach yearly house sponsorship goals as outlined in our strategic plan 

* develop strategies to ensure a diverse and stable base of funding, including increasing individual and faith community giving;

* manage stewardship of donors, volunteers and other supporters, and reach out to new audiences;

* enhance public awareness of the need for Habitat and Habitat's mission in Philadelphia

Required Experience:
Skills desired include:
? strong organizational skills;
? strong supervisory skills with the ability to recruit, retain and to develop fund raising staff and volunteers to become a strong development team; ? demonstrated superior written and oral communication abilities;
? ability to juggle multiple projects; 
? proven ability to develop marketing and fund raising plans and to meet desired goals and objectives;
? knowledge of current fund raising practices and procedures, especially in regard to individual donors;
? minimum five years experience and demonstrated successful track record in fundraising and marketing. 

Targeted Salary
$50,000-60,000 Salary Negotiable Outside Range
