Job Description:
We are currently experiencing major expansion and are looking to finance it with an influx of growth capital. In addition to raising such capital, we need to ensure that the donor community stays well informed and connected to our progress. This position will involve a blend of relationship management and new fundraising.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Lead implementation of the overall Kiva fundraising strategy
- Maintain relationships with existing donor base
- Coordinate and track all external funder conversations
- Manage a consistent message and keep all fundraising documents current
- Improve fundraising systems as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to provide leadership, think strategically, and lead high-level development discussions.
- Minimum of (10) years of development or sales experience, including (4) years in a management capacity.
- Significant foundation relationship experience.
- Ability to relate well to wealthy individuals.
- Proven track record of success in implementing successful development campaigns.
- Exceptional writing, verbal, analytical, and computer skills.
- Salesforce website experience a major plus.
- Superb management and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial approach to working in an environment with limited resources, flexibility and a sense of humor.
- Travel may be required.
