Position Overview:

We are currently working with a significant Solar Energy player that is seeking a Director of Business development. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and securing third party services contracts that are imperative for the development and growth of the company's services.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will use their 10+ years of experience selling value based managed services preferably within renewable energy to work with the most senior individuals within manufacturers, developers and most importantly utility customers on the development of new business opportunities. Experience selling to utilities is a major plus. This person will create his/her own direct sales opportunities as well as supporting other sales organizations in all global locations. This person will work with product management and Global Services management to continue to create a compelling offer, pricing strategy and a regional strategy.

Qualifications:

In order to be successful in the role candidates will need at least 10+ years experience selling to utilities, large mechanical and electrical plants operations and/or renewable developers. Additionally they must have a proven track record of identifying and closing multi-year, $1M plus deals. Experience creating third party sales channels & Global experience is a plus.
