Position Overview
We're hiring! World BEYOND War is seeking a part-time remote Development Director to oversee fundraising for the organization. This is a 20 hrs/wk position, and you can be based anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
The Development Director's primary responsibility is fundraising. Tasks include:
- Grant writing
- Establishing relationships with major donors
- Increasing small individual donor pool
- Planning fundraising events and campaigns
- Drafting content for foundation proposals, donor appeal letters, action alerts, e-newsletters, and the website
- Database management
- Budget planning
Compensation
- Annual salary for this position starts at $20,000/year and includes 2 weeks of paid vacation time.
Qualifications
Requirements & Skills:
- Proficiency with social media
- Proficiency with database management
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Ready access to a fast, reliable internet
- Mastery of English language
