Development Analyst

Horizon Wind Energy is hiring a Development Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and targeting renewable energy business opportunities   
• Conduct market research and analysis on national wind energy supply and demand scenarios, competitor strategies and activities, and key market trends   
• Analyze possible acquisitions on a qualitative and quantitative level, and create concise presentations on opportunities to senior management   
• Work with Horizon employees across departments and geographic regions to verify project assumptions   
• Support developers and executives in other duties as may be assigned or otherwise required from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field   
• Up to five years of relevant experience   
• Strong written and analytical skills   
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to comprehend and analyze technical information   
• Strong communication and organizational skills   
• Ability to multi-task, committed to producing high-quality work, quick learner of complex material, detail-oriented, high achiever, self-motivated   
• Ability to perform duties in a collaborative working environment; also must be a responsible self-starter who can work effectively without constant supervision   
• Ability to travel   
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint and proven ability to learn new software programs   
• Must be willing to assist in all aspects of development with a positive attitude
