Position Overview:

With MOCA experiencing steady growth, we are actively seeking a Program Manager to lead the management of nuclear weapon clean-up programs and environmental restoration programs with a focus on cost and schedule estimating and management. The ideal candidate will have proven success leading a team in program management, identifying client needs, providing consistent high quality products, managing client relationships, and gathering resources to build effective project delivery teams. As a leader you will be able to foster skills among project staff through mentoring and coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume a leadership position in the organization for the execution of all project management
  • Oversight and client deliverables
  • Assure the quality, profitability and success of projects through completion of the all deliverables on time and within budget
  • Manage existing client relationships and execute work flawlessly
  • Maintain pro-active and communicative relationships with clients and key project personnel
  • Establish, promote and maintain a mentoring relationship with all members of the project team

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Four-year college degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10+ years of experience with Department of Energy environmental clean-up programs
  • 10+ years of related engineering experience in construction, cost estimating or scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience with Primavera Project Manager or Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Excel and Word proficiency
  • Solid organization, planning, and leadership skills

These qualifications would be a plus:

  • Masters Degree in related Engineering or Construction Management field
  • PE, PMP, CCM, CCE or CCC certification
  • 7+ years of project controls, scheduling or cost estimating experience
  • Experience with software applications such as Timberline, PACES and RSMeans
  • Success Estimator, PACES, MCACES, or MII
