Position Overview
Solect is currently seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The Demand Generation Specialist will be a driven, self-starter with a passion for the solar industry and the desire to propel a fast-growing Solar Development firm to regional prominence.
Working with our Marketing and Sales teams, he/she will assist with lead generation programs, including refinement of lead database, calling companies to mine information, and general database building and maintenance.
He/she will be responsible for the centralization, de-duplication, profiling, appending, normalizing and cleansing of marketing data in order to define target lists and segments, score leads, and route leads to sales.
Additionally, Solect will provide training in order for the Demand Generation Specialist to learn how to draft preliminary solar designs to appropriately meet prospective clients' needs. The ability to be detail-oriented as well as see the bigger picture is a key to success in this role, and the ideal candidate will be able to manage a large volume of projects while demonstrating excellent communication.

Responsibilities
- Conduct strategically focused online research activities with commercial, light industrial and municipal
- Develop targeted and segmented lists of potential clients including working with third party vendors to develop lead lists that can be analyzed and optimized
- Draft preliminary commercial solar PV designs for potential clients using custom software tools
- Diligently maintain database integrity of CRM system, keeping accurate and detailed account records, reporting metrics, and designs in Salesforce CRM database
- Support Sales in identifying appropriate opportunities for solar development
- Assist with required documentation for sales proposals and deliverables
Qualifications
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Excellent and detailed online research skills
- Knowledge and experience in solar (PV) energy and a passion for renewable energy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of commercial construction a plus
- Problem solving and ability to proactively research potential concerns or issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in SalesForce CRM
- Strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
- Self-starting with a strong attention to detail
- Energetic, positive, enthusiastic, self-directing and a team player
