Position Overview:

Sensus USA seeks to hire a Data Center Manager who will be responsible for providing direction, leadership, and mentorship to technical and non-technical personnel within a Data Center Environment.

In addition to supporting all aspects of operational support this individual will also be responsible for supporting all administrative tasks related to supporting internal reporting employees which include, but are not limited to, annual performance reviews, reviewing tickets and other work performed by their reporting staff, building and supporting service performance metrics, and developing a career growth path. This person will need to be able to deal directly with our customers and assist with vendor management.

Responsibilities:

  • Under limited supervision, administers all aspects of our customer facing data centers.
  • Responsible for Technical Support problems/issues and issues by spotting reoccurring issues and devising a solution to prevent them.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining security logs, scripts and network systems to insure security and help with in house audits.
  • On call and possible after hours/weekend work.
  • Lead Projects and resources in meeting customer internal and external customer objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and/or 10+ years of equivalent work experience in the network and data center operations field
  • Possess exceptional client service skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Dedication to client service and passion for learning and information security
  • Well spoken, articulate, attention to detail, with excellent writing abilities and must be able to communicate technical details in a clear manner
  • Ability to coach and mentor all levels of skills sets within the team
  • Excellent problem solving skills and keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical
