Job Description

Great Forest is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor for our waste brokerage division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a tight-knit entrepreneurial group, work with Fortune 500 companies, drive sustainability initiatives and supervise a team. This position reports directly to the COO with prospects for growth and the ability to impact the direction of the company.

The Great Forest Waste Brokerage team works with waste haulers and clients to manage all aspects of the waste removal process to provide a seamless, efficient experience while enabling clients to meet sustainability goals. As the Customer Service Supervisor, you will manage major clients, supervise the customer service team and ensure clients are serviced in an optimal manner.

Responsibilities 

Customer Service

  • Supervise customer service department, ensuring that hauler and client questions are answered in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Improve customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and establishing and communicating service metrics and monitoring and analyzing results.
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

Account Management

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Respond to client needs in a timely manner

Client Deliverables

  • Provide direction to and work with commercial and analytics team on any deliverables needed for client
  • Ensure that deliverables are provided in a timely and professional manner, based on client needs

Internal

  • Provide internal team needed documentation and information to ensure that client billing and hauler payment needs are met

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in the waste industry (required)
  •  Proven customer service experience. Account management experience is a plus
  • Understanding and ability to implement best-in-class customer service standards and procedures
  • Proven ability to supervise and direct employees
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and timelines
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  •  Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively

Compensation

  • Excellent compensation for the right person. Starting at $70,000. 
  • You will be eligible for company 401k program, health benefits, 22 PTO days (prorated dependent on hire date).
