Description

Aero Farm Systems has developed aeroponic agricultural technology that produces a variety of vegetables, flowers, herbs and other crops continuously throughout the year.  The aeroponic technology requires no soil in its growing process, only water and artificial light.  This enables crops to be grown in a relatively small area, such as an unused warehouse, near urban centers where the demand for fresh leafy greens is greatest.  Aero Farm Systems will not require pesticides, special buildings, or sunlight, and will markedly reduce labor and energy consumption while growing all year long.

This novel manufacturing technology will not only lead to job growth and creation in these areas, but will cut down on the costs and negative environmental impacts associated with the transport of fresh vegetables over long distances. This method will also provide lower-cost, higher-quality fresh vegetables to a wider population that is increasingly facing health and obesity challenges.
