Description

The New York Botanical Garden is a living museum, an educational institution, and a plant research and conservation organization.

We're an advocate for the plant world. The Garden pursues its mission through its role as a museum of living plant collections arranged in gardens and landscapes across its National Historic Landmark site; through its comprehensive education programs in horticulture and plant science; and through the wide-ranging research programs of the International Plant Science Center.

Position Overview

The Coordinator, Foundation Relations supports the operation and continued growth of the Foundation Relations Program, including securing foundation, corporate foundation, and government grants for all aspects of The New York Botanical Garden’s work, from the Annual Fund, exhibitions, and education, to science, horticulture, capital, and endowment.  This role will blend excellent writing and prospect research skills with the ability to build connections both internally at NYBG and with program officers at foundations and government agencies.

Leveraging the strong foundation of existing policies and practices, NYBG will advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility through a number of institutional initiatives.
