Description
Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) manages a lot of data—information about member organization and their contacts, about utility energy efficiency programs, and about efficient products. CEE also produces information—position papers; list of highly efficient products; summaries of different programs throughout the United States and Canada; and industry budget, expenditure, and impact numbers. CEE is introducing a new extranet application based on Drupal and MySQL that allows members to create and share information more effectively.
Position Overview:
We are awaiting authorization for this position. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Data and Content Manager works closely with management and program staff to provide data oversight, insight, and controls. Initially, the position entails transitioning staff, members, and content to the CMS. After that phase, the full time position includes aspects of data management, content management, database administration, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT vendors
- Manage the Drupal CMS
- Manage users, groups, and permissions for the Drupal CMS
- Help train staff to use the intranet and extranet
- Provide training for member staff and manufacturers in use of the extranet
- Customize Drupal documents and forms as needed
- Manage the data about member organizations and their contacts, including importing and exporting as necessary
- Work with member organizations and manufacturers to import and manage data they provide via surveys
- Generate queries to process and export data
- Generate data reports as needed using a variety of reporting, analysis and business intelligence tools
Qualifications:
We are looking for a professional used to working in an analytical, service-oriented business environment with the following skill set:
- Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail
- Prior experience communicating with and training nontechnical staff
- Minimum 1 year experience customizing and managing a CMS, preferably Drupal
- 2 years or more experience developing queries in MySQL
- BS Computer Science or equivalent
