Description
Ashridge is one of the world's top business schools. A world-class management and organisation development centre, offering consulting, research and executive education services in working alongside clients to reach their goals. These interventions are usually co-designed together with client organisations from a wide range of sectors.
For the past 10 years or so, one of the central pillars at Ashridge has been our Centre for Business and Society (ACBAS). The Centre strives to be a leading international authority on organisation sustainability and corporate responsibility. To achieve this ACBAS is developing an ongoing programme of consultancy, research and education that enhances the abilities of corporate, government and third sector organisations to build mutually beneficial relations and engage with the challenge of sustainability.
To help us sustain and build on our current position we now seek an Organisation Consultant with a demonstrable interest in sustainability and corporate responsibility. We are particularly interested to hear from those experienced in new business development and in managing complex projects across their life cycle. We anticipate talking to those who know how to foster long-term client relationships, manage projects, and those who offer a broad understanding of how to bring about change in organisations. Some experience in both research and executive development is also highly desirable.
You will need to be a good team player with a higher degree and be a first class communicator and networker. You will offer good planning and organisational skills, together with the personal credibility to work at the highest levels. You must have a thorough understanding of business issues and of how organisations work. Experience of working outside the UK will be a distinct advantage, as will the ability to work in a language other than English.
In return Ashridge can provide a stimulating and rewarding career in an environment second to none. We offer the chance to grow in an environment that embraces diversity, encourages a healthy work/life balance, and the opportunity to take Ashridge and our partners into areas that will add value to the work and life of the community.
If you would like to explore this opportunity further, (including the possibility of flexible working if you wish), please forward your C.V. including details of your current salary, together with a covering letter explaining why your background and experience are relevant to this position.
Closing date for applications: 6 June 2007. Initial interviews will be held w/c 18 June.
