Construction Administrator

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the job are broken into the following aspects: Design, Construction, Administration and Marketing.

Design:

• Understand the construction documents and details.
• Create renderings and other visual graphics of the project.
• Model the project in various formats for ease of on-site construction.
• Design architectural details to relay appropriate information to clients.
• Understand and augment the ASUL Construction Manual.

Construction:

• Understand and follow the ASUL Construction Manual for the project.
• Work in the field to assist in the construction process.
• Manage construction tasks.
• Manage construction sub-contractors.
• Meet with clients on-site to provide updates and resolve design issues.

Administration:

• Supervise Material Management process of project.
• Complete daily reporting and logs for project.
• Confirm and/or revise Construction Manual for project.

Marketing:

• Assist in the creation of the Marketing Plan for the project.
• Supervise the implementation of the Marketing Plan.
• Create original graphics for the project.

Qualifications:

The following is required of the candidate seeking this position:

Education:

• Master's of Architecture Degree

Experience:

• Knowledge of the construction industry.

Professional Skills:

• Proficiency in applicable computer programs.
• Excellent communicator with clients, architects, and construction workers.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude with skill to be an independent thinker.

Job Working Conditions:

The majority of work will be outdoors on construction sites where exposure to weather conditions will occur. The job requires a level of fitness and dexterity to assist in the construction process.

Travel Requirements:

Extensive travel for sustained periods of time is required for this position.

Compensation: The salary and benefits package of this position will be negotiated with the prospective employee.
