Description

The Bonobo and Congo Biodiversity Initiative (BCBI) of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee is seeking to fill an internship position available for a student in biology/conservation/environmental science, junior or senior status preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • internet searches, 
  • library research, 
  • data entry and database management, 
  • general clerical duties, 
  • and editing/writing 
  • position rarely involves direct animal contact/field experience 
  • position requires advanced word processing skills, excellent writing / communication /organizational / interpersonal skills; 
  • strong proficiency with computers, database management (Excel/Access), 
  • and publications development.

Qualifications:
Must be able to work independently on a variety of technical/non-technical tasks.

Terms:

  • Start date as soon as possible, schedule can be flexible based on performance. 
  • Offices based downtown Milwaukee (not at zoo). 
  • Free parking 
  • Pay rate: $8.00 - $9.00/hour depending on experience
