Communications Specialist

Campaign for America's Wilderness works to protect the nation's last best wild places for future generations.

We seek a Communications Specialist to assist busy dept. with identifying and responding to media opportunities, drafting releases and op-eds, maintaining press lists, preparing media tracking reports, writing and posting web copy, and representing organization at national conferences.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, 1-3 years' experience in communications/PR, strong writing and organizational skills, strong Microsoft Office computer skills and Web/HTML knowledge, team player attitude and ability to handle competing projects. Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher a plus. Some travel required.
