Fast-growing, cutting-edge, New York City-based clean-energy company with global presence seeks a highly experienced Communications Director for a full-time position in a publicly listed company.
Ener1, Inc. (NASDAQ: HEV) is an energy storage solutions company that is developing and commercializing advanced, high-performance safe lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in HEVs (PHEVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). Ener1 is also developing commercial fuel cell products through its EnerFuel subsidiary and nanotechnology-based materials and manufacturing processes for batteries and other applications through its NanoEner subsidiary.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in successful corporate and CEO positioning specifically in a B2B environment is required. Must be an excellent public relations writer with deep experience in designing media plans and executing expertly and systematically. The successful candidate will have solid relationships with energy, environmental and automotive press.
Must also possess extensive experience in internal/employee communications and corporate mission maintenance. Experience in directing outsource services is required, including marketing, branding and other creative consultants, and for managing a substantial communications budget.
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience/salary history.
