Duties:
The Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Protection Partnerships Division's ENERGY STAR program seeks an energetic person to help communicate the ENERGY STAR message to private and public sector organizations. ENERGY STAR partners with a range of private companies, schools, and government organizations to help them reduce greenhouse gas emissions from their operations through improved energy efficiency. To be effective, ENERGY STAR needs strong, clear, and motivating communications materials and campaigns.
- Responsibilities of the position include overseeing the development of new marketing and related program materials, coordination with division-level branding efforts, editorial outreach, coordination of events, and special projects.
- Successful candidates will have excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, as well as expertise in communicating via the web.
- Familiarity with ENERGY STAR is a plus. Candidates should have experience in successfully managing multifaceted communications projects and in coordinating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Terms:
Salary Range: $40,044 - $89,774 per year
