Description
GreenBlue is seeking to fill a manager-level position for its Sustainable Packaging Coalition project.
The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (www.sustainablepackaging.org) is a new industry working group dedicated to realizing sustainable packaging solutions.
The position includes researching and managing projects of the Coalition which may include the following: a survey of materials used by members, pilot programs for collection and recycling of materials, fact sheets on issues and opportunities for sustainable packaging, and education and communications efforts that advocate for a positive environmental vision for packaging.
In addition, the candidate would assist with promotion, communications with members and interested organizations, meeting planning and facilitation, and developing a business plan for the Coalition.
The applicant must possess the technical skills to analyze material flows and their impacts and have superior facilitation and communications skills. Familiarity with principles of life cycle and systems thinking is preferred.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
