Description

~ Climate Corps is a 10-month fellowship program that provides unparalleled professional development for emerging climate protection leaders through climate focused (mitigation and adaptation) work with local governments, non-profits and for-profit businesses. ~

Over the Past 7 Years Climate Corps has:

  • Saved over 35,700 tons of greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere, 6,400 metric tons of waste from landfills, and 110,000 gallons of water.
  • Provided over 200 hours of professional development training to each Fellow.
  • Helped 8 out of 10 Fellows obtain jobs or continued degrees in the sustainability field.
  • Accrued an alumni network of over 175 Fellows and counting.

Our Fellows 

  • Gain experience applying cutting edge theory and methods within climate leading organizations.
  • Plan for and implement significant climate protection (adaptation and mitigation) projects with real, quantifiable results.
  • Participate in a 30+ regional Fellow cohort.
  • Build critical project management and strategic communications skills as you seek to engage others, track and report on your progress and outcomes. 

Recent Fellow placements include: Sustainability Specialist, Green Business Associate, Restoration Technician, Clean Energy Program Associate, Community Outreach Coordinator, Mechanical Design Engineer, Regional Transportation Planner, Construction Project Engineer, and many more.

  • In exchange for their service, each CCBA Fellow receives the following: 
  • Monthly stipend of $1,750 and end-of-program award (note that some positions offer enhanced stipends).
