Interested in getting an exciting position in the field of sustainable investment? Smith Barney, is currently seeking applicants for a Sustainability Investment Practice at Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

The position will entail research and implementation of environmentally responsible investment portfolios. Other responsibilities will include portfolio review, marketing, client service, business, database, and information management. Applicants should have a working knowledge of sustainability practices in corporations, issues revolving around climate change, labor relations, and environmental risk assessment. Also a plus is a back ground in corporate finance, equity research and portfolio management. The full time position also has the responsibilities of assisting Financial Advisors and clients with administrative and operational support that include: 

Description: Assist Financial Advisors and clients with maximum administrative and operational support. Responsibilities: 

* Assist Financial Advisor in reviewing client accounts through the utilization of internal resources such as research and sales/marketing.
* Assist Financial Advisor in increasing client base and gross production, if appropriate.
* Answer phones, take messages, respond to client requests, when appropriate. 
* Take client's orders and provide market quotes within the guidelines of compliance. 
* Communicate regularly with clients on items such as monthly statements; provide full customer service.
* Interact with operations staff to address issues and problems.
* Compose and type correspondence for Financial Advisor, following Firm guidelines.
* Investigate and resolve operational problems. 
* Maintain files for Financial Advisors on clients and products.
* Provide follow-up with clients and operations staff.
* Alert Management to policy violations, if applicable.
* Assist in the training of less experienced staff, at Management request.
* Obtain investment and product information for Financial Advisor. 
* Takes clients orders and provide market quotes within the guidelines of Compliance
* Perform other duties, as assigned by Management. 

Minimum Qualifications 

* NYSE Series 7 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain), and additional licensing as needed by Financial Advisor. 
* Minimum of University Degree.
* Basic administrative skills.
* Basic knowledge of financial industry/products.
* Knowledge of financial industry/products.
* Knowledge of applicable compliance rules and regulations.
* Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients.
