Description

Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) is an international coalition of 473 organizations in more than 50 countries, working to transform the health care sector so it is no longer a source of harm to people and the environment.

Health Care Without Harm is looking to hire a Co-coordinator for its annual conference - CleanMed. CleanMed is the premiere national environmental conference for leaders in health care.

Position Overview:

The CleanMed Co-coordinator will be responsible for the general oversight and management of the annual conference. The primary area of responsibility will be to strategically build the many content-related aspects of the conference.

Responsibilities:

The coordinator will share some responsibility with another co-coordinator who will be responsible for the exhibitor hall, hotel and on site logistics. She/he will also coordinate with Practice Greenhealth on their awards program and other programs that are jointly delivered at the CleanMed conference.

While this is primarily a US based program, there is developing interest in coordinating CleanMed events in other regions of the world where HCWH has a presence. There may be some international coordination aspects of the job in the future.

This is currently a half- time position, with a preference for working in the Arlington, Virginia office. In the future it could expand to a full time position. Regrant to like-minded organization will also be considered.
