Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Manger will manage all business development aspects of GreenRoad's partnerships, with a primary focus on sales revenue and lead generation from new and existing channel partnerships. The role balances sales support, channel partner management, sales training, sales execution, and relationship management - with the primary focus of growing the sales funnel from channel partners.
Responsibilities:
The Channel Sales Manager, in acting as the liaison between GreenRoad and its Channel Partners, will be responsible for:
- Meet set sales quotas while adhering to GreenRoads sales rules of engagement.
- Manage and be the main point of contact for existing channel partners.
- Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, prospect identification, value proposition, training and support.
- Manage sales orders and provide status to partners.
- Communicate with partners on new service offerings.
- Create and utilize systems and procedures to streamline partner management.
- Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
- Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast using SalesForce.com.
- Keep abreast of the competition and competitive issues.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
- Conduct contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
Experience and qualifications required:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 5+ years' sales experience in fleet management, telematics, and or technology sales and/or account management.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Successful achievement of large quotas in consultative sales.
- Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the strategic consultative sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
- Ability to craft a solution with appropriate services that meet business goals based on client discussions.
- Manage large sales pipeline.
- Define and execute partner sales plans, revenue and partner commission plans.
