Cone is searching for candidates with 6-8 years experience to join Cone's team in a unique position that will provide an opportunity to learn the industry of cause-related marketing and corporate responsibility at the nation's leading agency.
Position Overview:
The primary role of this position is to establish, maintain and communicate Cone's leadership position in Cause Branding and Corporate Responsibility.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Serve as a core member of the strategy team as Cone continues to evolve its expertise and positioning in this area
- Evaluate opportunities and create and execute actionable plans for growth in new areas
- Manage and implement research on Cause Branding and Corporate Responsibility: forge partnerships with research organizations, develop questionnaires, analyze data, draft and produce summary reports, conduct proactive media relations outreach around survey findings
- Research and analyze industry news, trends, research and case studies to identify best practices and share key learnings with staff and clients
- Draw insights and trends that are critical to Cone's account work and future evolution
- Serve as a spokesperson and resource on Cause Branding and Corporate Responsibility for business, consumer, trade and philanthropy media and at select conferences
- Manage Cone's proprietary ROI tool
- Explore and secure speaking engagements for executive team and develop customized presentations
- Write best practice essays, letters to the editor, client correspondence, Web site copy, etc., on behalf of executive team
- Collaborate closely with the agency to share and apply marketplace knowledge to client work
Qualifications:
This person we seek is insights-driven and has a passion for social issues, business strategy and consumer behavior.
Candidates must have very strong verbal and written skills, proven organizational and time management skills, ability to research and strategically analyze information, working knowledge of philanthropy, social issues and corporate responsibility, and the ability to use a broad range of research tools, and accept challenges and solve problems.
