Description

We are Campaign to Save the Environment, a national non-profit organization.

We have been working with the country's top progressive organizations- groups like the Sierra Club, the Human Rights Campaign and Environment America- since 1982. Our mission is to help groups take on important fights and make sure they have the resources and the public support it takes to make a real difference.

We are looking for a smart, motivated and hard-working person to intern with our summer staffing project. The project is working to interview thousands of young activists this spring to work on our campaigns over the summer.

Interns will help coordinate the following:

-Working on our online recruitment efforts by placing and maintaining advertisements, answering online applications.
-Working with college campus career offices across the country to coordinate our recruitment, visibility events and on-campus interviews.
-Databasing to keep our records complete and accurate.
-Working with offices across the country to make sure they have all necessary materials.

Hours will be flexible, but afternoon and evening hours would work best.

Internships are unpaid, but interns will gain valuable skills and experience in working with a grassroots environmental non-profit. Skills and training include: planning, time-management, written and verbal communication, database management, and online research.
