Camp Singing Wind, owned and operated by Camp Fire USA Lower Columbia Council, is located 2 miles west of Toledo in beautiful Southwest WA! We also run an excellent Environmental Education Program throughout the year and implement much of that environmental education into our summer camp programs. We own 184 acres of wooded land and we offer day and resident camp programs for children grades K-12.
We are searching for a Counselor to join our staff from June 19th - August 4th, 2006. Compensation includes room & board during resident camp plus small stipend.
General Responsibilities and Qualifications: Lead, guide and provide for the general needs and safety of campers in camp activities, group living and personal development. A counselor's role is one of teacher, mentor, friend, coordinator, facilitator, activity leader, and last but not least, the one with all the fun games and awesome activities stored in his or her pocket!
