STELLA Consulting was founded in 1993 by two senior environmental and management consulting professionals with more than 30 years of combined experience in managing international projects in the environmental field, in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. To serve our clients more effectively, we have established three office locations in Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France and near Washington, DC, United States.
STELLA works closely with policy makers, businesses and local communities to promote environmental protection and sustainable development. We bring people and ideas together to develop sound environmental programmes, and we build national and local capabilities to implement such programmes.
Position Overview:
STELLA Consulting is seeking candidates to fill the position of Call for LIFE+ Evaluator. This is a part-time position for independent experts, with the following indicative timetable: September 2013 - May 2014.
Qualifications:
- 2 years proven experience in the evaluation of project proposals; AND
- 3 years' experience in one of the following fields: Nature and Biodiversity, Environmental Policy and Governance, or Information and Communication; and
- All experts should also have an excellent command of English.
In addition to the above, the following would be an asset:
- Previous experience in assessing and/or managing projects;
- Proficiency in other EU languages; and/or
- Experience and/or knowledge of the LIFE+ Programme.
