Description
AstroPower, Inc. is a rapidly growing solar electric power company headquartered in
Newark, Delaware near the campus of the University of Delaware. We are the
worlds largest independent producer of solar electric power products, which include
a complete offering of integrated packaged systems for the commercial and residential
marketplace.
Duties:
AstroPower is currently seeking experienced business to consumer sales professionals,
who would be responsible for the in-home sales of our solar electric home power
systems through our partnership with The Home Depot.
AstroPower currently has sales positions available in Long Island, NY, New Jersey
and throughout California and is looking for energetic, qualified individuals who seek
the opportunity to make a difference.
- All homeowner appointments
are qualified and pre-set with company paid expenses, factory training and field support. - This is a full time position with AstroPower with a realistic earnings potential
of $100,000 or more annually for the motivated sales closer.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business
Administration or Engineering and a demonstrated track record of success in retail
sales, in-home consumer product sales (defined as either electric or hot water solar
systems, water treatment systems, kitchen & bath design, HVAC, roofing, windows,
siding and doors). - Candidates must possess excellent organizational and
communication skills, have the ability to work independently, have flexibility to work
evenings and weekends, and hold a high standard of professionalism. -
