Our Energy Network Operations Center (EnerNOC) supports these applications across thousands of C&I customer sites throughout the world. Using our C&I customers' energy usage flexibility, we make capacity, energy, ancillary services, and carbon products available to grid operators and our more than 100 utility customers on demand as a cost-effective alternative to traditional power generation, transmission, and distribution.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager based in California, your will sell our full suite of energy efficiency solutions from your home office or from (one of) EnerNOC's (Irvine or Bay Area) location(s). Your primary focus will be on driving penetration of EnerNOC's EfficiencySMART solutions for commercial property, higher education, and healthcare customers, generating energy efficiency revenue and achieving aggressive annual sales plans.

Qualifications:

You will rely heavily on your experience utilizing solution selling of energy-related services to C&I customers. Your ability to quickly establish credibility with customers, partners, suppliers, market influencers, upper management, and your fellow salespeople will also be key to your success.  Your background combining engineering or relevant technical training and running the entire sales cycle - from lead generation through to contract signing, - will be critical in this exciting role. Your knowledge of procurement processes for energy services, ability to scope and propose complex projects and passion for clean technology markets is required and will keep you attuned to our efforts.
